Uninstall protection is only available via our Galaxy Store version or from our website download page. The following steps apply to these versions exclusively and are not supported on our Google Play version. If you require additional protection for your child devices, please update to the non-Google Play versions.
Our latest versions of Boomerang Parental Control enables prevent removal automatically during setup. Enabling Prevent App Uninstallation adds protection on your child's device against easy removal of Boomerang Parental Control. Here's how to confirm if it's enabled.
Via Parent Mode

Open Boomerang Parental Control on your parent device > tap MANAGE DEVICE > tap three dots (top right) > Advanced Device Settings > toggle Prevent App Uninstallation. |
Via our Web Dashboard

From our Boomerang Parental Control Web Dashboard (login with your group email/password). Click on one of your child devices > Advanced tab. Toggle on on Require Password for Uninstallation. |
