Enable Restricted Mode

On your child's device, open the YouTube app, go to YouTube Settings, General and Toggle on Restricted Mode.

Block access to YouTube apps' Settings

Open Boomerang on your parent device, tap on your child's device (MANAGE DEVICE), tap on three dots in top right, Advanced Device Settings and toggle on “Block YouTube app Settings Access”.
