When you install SPIN Safe Browser + AppConfig from the App Store, it will instantly block the following content categories from our service: 

• Prone to Bad Content: websites that are normally good but may contain sexual or inappropriate content

• Pornography and Adult Content

• Nudity

• Unsafe Search Engines

• File Sharing / Peer to Peer sites

• VPN and Proxy sites

Using AppConfig Generator

When using Jamf's AppConfig Generator (currently in BETA), we set the same categories to be enabled by default.

Important note:  If you remove any of the default selections from the App Configuration preferences, you can make SPIN Safe Browser unfiltered. Unless you have a real requirement in your organization, our years of research and feedback supports the current default content categories for a balanced safe browsing experience.

Additional Content Categories

You may add more content categories to block by adding their unique code in the App Configuration XML section of your Mobile Device Management solution.
