Is it possible to limit use during school hours except for the apps that are flagged as always allowed?

Essential Apps Working 24/7:

Yes, it is it possible however, doing so will be using our Always Allowed feature and these Apps will then work 24/7 so will also work at times such as bedtime when you do not want them to work.

To do this, Login into the Boomerang Web Management Dashboard and then click on the Device and then:

1. Click on the Screen Time Tab and schedule the screen time schedule so that during school hours, there is no screen time scheduled.  In the grid, green means go.
2. Click on the Always Allowed Tab and under “Run Application” select the good essential Apps that you are OK with your child using during school hours.
