Has there been any update on this? I just decided to switch my kiddos to Chrome from Spin and this is happening on our Pixel 5 phones. I suppose I should add that on ours, while it is looping, I cannot even close the tab or swipe to go back to the home screen for the phone. The only way to stop it is to pull down the notification shade, go to settings, and then swipe to home and force close Chrome. Thanks!
