It is highly recommended to harden Boomerang's security so that it can't be uninstalled without the password by enabling "Require Password for Uninstallation."
There are two ways that you can enable it:
Parent Mode from your phone. Go to Manage "Family" Devices then tap on the child's name, then tap on the 3 dots and Advanced Device Settings. Toggle On the "Require Password for Uninstallation."
From the Boomerang Web Management Dashboard: Click on the child device and then the Advanced Tab. Here check the "Require Password for Uninstallation."
Why is "Require Password for Uninstallation" not on by default and what is the default?
The default settings is for Parents to be notified. Kids also get a warning when they are about to deactivate the Device Administrator telling them that their parents will be notified if they proceed. We do not invoke the hardened security by default as we do not want our product being used as spyware.
